Septic System Design
We Cover All Your Needs
Every home needs a proper onsite septic system to safely manage and treat all our wastewater flows before they enter back into our valuable water resources.
We help with this entire process. New construction or replacements all start with information gathering. How many existing or planned bedrooms? Will there be or is there currently a separate suite? Any other plans for the property that will cause changes to water usage and flows entering the system?
All this information is used to determine our daily design flow. With that determined, we thoroughly assess the site for options. Care for setbacks to water courses, drainage, wells, waterlines is taken and we ensure safe areas are available. The site is tested for soil type, permeability and depth. Slope and elevations are also documented.
The entire septic system is designed around this valuable information. All prepared documentation is processed in a filing to Island Health.
Post installation we complete system commissioning by operating all components, programming the control panel and documenting the information. A letter of certification is processed with Island Health and includes a record drawing, operation and maintenance manual.
